No LA Fitness on the horizon for Maricopa

Multiple calls to multiple locations have turned up the same answer about prospects for the construction of an LA Fitness facility in Maricopa.

Not anytime soon.

For the past eight months rumors have swirled around the city that the workout super center could be opening a location here, but the reality is that the company has yet to purchase any land in town.

Several managers said that the company would like to put a fitness center in Maricopa, but the likelihood of it happening soon was very slim.

Calls to the corporate office have not yet been returned.
