Orbitel showcases NCAA on three channels

College basketball reaches its frenzy March 18 with the start of the famed March Madness single elimination tournament, and Orbitel Communications will carry all the games, available locally through CBS affiliate KPHO on Orbitel channels 5, 905HD and 195 digital.

All Orbitel cable TV customers can watch the games on Ch. 5, and those same games are on HD channel 905 for subscribers to Orbitel’s HD package. An additional set of games will be on Orbitel digital channel 195, normally KPHO Weather.

“Our customers are avid March Madness fans, and Orbitel is pleased to bring Maricopa all the games that CBS is making available locally,” said Keith Kirkman, President and CEO of Orbitel. “Having both the Ch 5/905HD game and the channel 195 game is especially appealing during the first weekend with 64 teams playing.”

Orbitel Communications provides Cable TV, High Speed Internet, and phone service exclusively in Maricopa. The company recently announced channel additions bringing the HD content to 67 channels, and total entertainment channels to 288.
