The 5th annual Our Lady of Grace Parish Festival and Carnival is in full swing this weekend, continuing Saturday night until 10:30 p.m, and running Sunday to 9 p.m.
The event features rides, face painting, a bounce house, mule rides, carnival games, and food. The festival also includes live bands, local dance and gymnastics performances and Boy Scout Court of Honor.
All-day-all-rides passes are $28.
Raffle tickets for $1 give people a chance to win up to $2,500. The drawing will be held about 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
A quilt made by the OLG Women’s Ministry Quilters will raffled at the same time. Tickets are $5.
The festivities include a silent auction including a 40-inch flat screen TV, a Coach purse, Kindle Fire, laptop computer, state of the art Sound Bar, Nintendo DSI Bundle, and more.
Proceeds from the weekend event go toward a new church building.
The church is at 45295 W. Honeycutt Ave near Maricopa High School.
