Pet photos with Easter Bunny support local animal rescue

On Saturday the Easter Bunny will be hopping into Stagestop Marketplace to meet Maricopa residents and their pets, posing with those furry friends for photos at the Desert Stars Gymnastics Studio.

All proceeds will benefit animal rescue in the city of Maricopa. Desert Star Gymnastics, Desert Sun Performing Arts, and Pet Social Worker have all partnered for this event. Amy Jamieson Photography will take the pets’ photos with their friend, the Easter Bunny.

The bunny will arrive at noon and plans to stay until 3 p.m. No appointments are necessary.

“Our rescue is completely supported by donations from the community, so when we came up with the idea of inviting the Easter Bunny, we thought it would be nice to give pet owners something a little special for their donation,” said Pet Social Worker president Kimberly Diedrich before last year’s event.
