Maricopa police are investigating a hit-and-run in Glennwilde last night.  

Officers responded to Glennwilde Drive and Ventana Lane around 8:30 p.m. on reports of a disturbance. 

“Officers located a vehicle that appeared to have struck a stationary object and was subsequently abandoned by the driver and reported passenger,” said MPD spokesperson Monica Williams. 

Witnesses told InMaricopa and MPD they heard a loud crash and a man and woman yelling at each other. 

The sedan was towed around 9 p.m. 

The case is under investigation, Williams said.
