Seventy percent of 220 poll-takers picked the Denver Broncos to beat the Seattle Seahawks Sunday in InMaricopa.com’s latest poll.

Locals can watch the big game on more than 40 TVs and an 80-foot Jumbotron right here at home as the Ak-Chin Indian Community partners with the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee to help fans watch Super Bowl XL VIII (48) while gearing up for Super Bowl XL IX (49) next year at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

Billed as “Super-sized Super Bowl Tailgate Party,” festivities start at 2 p.m. Sunday at the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center, 16000 Maricopa Road. Festivities will include appearances by various Phoenix sports team mascots and cheerleaders, football tosses with NFL players, and autographs and pictures.
