Readers say defy terrorist threat, go to Olympics

Most InMaricopa.com readers who responded to last week’s online poll said Americans should defy any terrorist threat and head to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

We posed the question: “Should Americans go to the 2014 Olympics in Sochi?”

Of the 189 poll takers, 91 chose the answer “Yes, defy any terrorist threat.” Sixty-five chose the option “No, heed any terrorist threat.” Thirty-three people chose “Tough call; not sure.”

The Olympics begins Friday and will last about two weeks.
