PRL Advisory Committee meets to finalize park alcohol permit application fee policy

The Parks, Recreation and Libraries Committee will hold a special meeting Tuesday to review the proposed alcohol permit application fee policy, to hear an update on November’s Mutt March and to discuss a possible PRL Appreciation Dinner. The meeting’s agenda follows:

3.1 Alcohol Permit Application and Fee. Committee will review the proposed alcohol permit application fee policy and make recommendations to staff and forward to the Maricopa City Council for final action. Discussion and possible action.

3.2 Maricopa Mutt March. Committee Member Theresa Farley will update the PRL Committee on the current status of th
Maricopa Mutt March scheduled for November. Discussion only.

3.3 PRL Appreciation Dinner. Committee will discuss the concept of a PRL Appreciation Dinner. Discussion only.

4.0 Call to the Public

The procedures to follow if you address the Committee are: The Parks, Recreation and Library Advisory Committee requests that you express your ideas in five minutes or less and refrain from any personal attacks or derogatory statements about any City employee, a fellow citizen, or anyone else, whether in the audience or not. The Committee Chair will limit discussion whenever he/she deems such an action appropriate to the proper conduct of the meeting. At the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the Parks, Recreation and Library Advisory Committee may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Parks, Recreation and Library Advisory Committee may ask Staff to review a matter, or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. However, members of the Parks, Recreation and Library Advisory Committee shall not discuss or take legal action on any matters during an open call to the public unless the matters are properly noticed for discussion and legal action.
