Register now for Inter-Agency’s 2nd annual Child Abuse Conference

Exploitation of children will be the focus for the 2nd Annual Child Abuse Conference on March 19 in Casa Grande.

The event, sponsored by the Inter-Agency Council of Pinal County convened by the Pinal County Attorney’s office, will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m. at The Property, 1251 W. Gila Bend Hwy. 

County Sheriff Paul Babeu will be the keynote speaker while several specialists will give presentations on the subjects of human trafficking, vice enforcement, including prostitution and child exploitation, and Internet sex crimes against children. The conference has been approved for four hours of CLE and AZ POST credit. 

Registration is $50 per person, which includes continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and conference materials. Scholarships are available on a limited basis.

The mission of the Inter-Agency Council of Pinal County, the conference sponsor, is to protect the children of Pinal County by providing education and information to citizens. The council brings together all law enforcement, civilian agencies and organizations that operate in the county. It also provides common training and educational opportunities like this 2nd Annual Child Abuse Conference.
