Republican Club to hold fundraiser for MUSD

The Maricopa Republican Club will host a fundraiser for the Maricopa Unified School District from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at The Duke at Rancho El Dorado.

Club president Marty Hermanson is hoping for at least $10 donations from attendees, and he is gathering items for a silent auction.

Superintendent Steve Chestnut is scheduled to speak on behalf of MUSD while guests enjoy refreshments.

Hermanson said they plan to hold another fundraiser in the fall to ensure schools “have the equipment and supplies they need to maintain classrooms.”
