Traffic was tied up Tuesday evening shortly after 8 p.m. heading southbound on SR 347 following an accident involving at least two cars at Maricopa Road by Wild Horse Pass.
Initial reports show an Acura and a Ford Escape involved. The Escape was sitting on the northbound side of SR 347 blocking one lane of traffic. Paramedics, meantime, were working on a victim on the southbound side of the highway shortly after 8 p.m. A medical evacuation helicopter is also on the scene.
