The Thunderbird Arena Community Council is holding a pancake breakfast fundraiser at Raceway Bar & Grill, 49237 W. Papago Road, from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday.
The breakfast will include a choice of sausage or bacon, juice and coffee for $5. There will be drawings for 20 free meals and a $100 Best Buy gift card.
A group of citizens from the Thunderbird Farms community are raising money to rehabilitate the Thunderbird Farms horse arena and the surrounding parcel. Their first fundraiser in August netted a little more than $1,000.
They are looking to install shade structures, bathrooms, replace the footing and repair the fence.
