Couple shares death experience

Pastor Chuck Simonson and Discover Community Church invite the public to join them in a free Friends Sunday with Craig and LaDonna Smith Sept. 30.

The couple, who will speak and sing, survived a near-fatal auto accident in northern New Mexico in 2009 in which LaDonna Smith suffered a neck fracture and Craig was in a coma for two months and had 20 surgeries.

He continues to be primarily confined to a wheelchair.

Simonson said many people throughout the country have been by the couple’s story of survival and healing.

Craig and his father, Ray Smith, are members of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe Indians, and LaDonna is a Navajo from the American Southwest. More information on their ministry is available at TribalRescue.com.
