The truck that flipped over at SR 347 and Riggs Road on Saturday morning was captured on the ADOT traffic cam just before 10 a.m.

It didn’t appear any other vehicles were involved and it is unknown if the truck driver was injured.

A front-end loader was on the scene less than an hour later to begin removing the dirt from the roadway.

Riggs Road was one of the suggested detours all day Saturday for an ADOT pavement maintenance project on SR 347 west of I-10, north of the accident scene. That work, expected to last from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., has closed SR 347 between I-10 and Maricopa Road. The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at SR 347/Queen Creek Road is also closed.

Eastbound and westbound I-10 off-ramps at SR 347 are limited to eastbound turns onto Queen Creek Road.

ADOT encouraged drivers to use alternate routes.
