Maricopa Little League had its opening night ceremony Feb. 24 at Pacana Park, with players meeting coaches as well as Mayor Christian Price and Diamondbacks mascot D. Baxter the Bobcat. Though it was a blustery evening, the children had fun and even played a little baseball.
