Lots of sun, wind in store for Maricopa

A sunny, warm, breezy week is ahead for Maricopa, according to the National Weather Service.

Today‘s high near 90 degrees will turn into a clear night with a low around 62. Winds from the west/southwest will be 5-10 mph.

Tuesday, expect another sunny day with a high near 90. Winds of 5-10 mph could gust up to 20 mph. Overnight, the low will be around 61.

Wednesday should be sunny with a high near 89. Winds from the south at at 5-10 mph will increase to 15-20 mph with gust up to 30 mph. The overnight low will be around 59 degrees, and the wind will continue, decreasing after midnight.

Thursday is again predicted to be sunny with a high near 86 degrees. Winds will be 5-10 mph. The nighttime low will be around 62.

Friday, of course, will be sunny, according to the NWS, and warm up to 92 degrees. The overnight low will be around 63 degrees.

Expect a similar weather pattern into the weekend.
