With a light wind bringing in cloud cover, the National Weather Service is predicting a small chance of rain and cool weather this weekend. As a light 10-mph wind grows to 25-mph gusts on Saturday, it’s likely to bring in a 20 percent chance of rain for Maricopa. As such, high temperatures are likely to start off the weekend in the mid-70s and then drop down to around 60 on Sunday when lows could dip down near freezing.

Today looks to be sunny, calm and clear with a high around 74 and a nighttime low near 42.

Friday will likely be sunny and mostly clear with a light 10-15 mph breeze, a high around 77 and a low near 47.

Saturday should be partly cloudy and breeze with winds gusting up to 25 mph and a 20 percent chance of rain as the high tops out at around 59 and the low dips down to near 33.

Sunday looks to be sunny, calm and mostly clear with a high around 60 and a low near 32.

Monday will likely also be sunny, calm and mostly clear with a high around 64 and a low near 32.
