Saturday’s Coffee with the Chief will be at Tacos ‘N More, 21596 N. John Wayne Parkway, and delve into police investigations.
Maricopa Police Chief Steve Stahl is out of town attending FBI leadership training this week, so Cmdr. Jim Hughes, acting police chief, will lead the discussion.
Sgt. Stephen Judd will speak to attendees about what criteria a crime must meet to be handled by the Maricopa Police Department and how an investigation is conducted.
Coffee with the Chief takes place 8 to 9:30 a.m. the second Saturday of the month.
It is a chance for residents to chat with police officers in a casual environment. Attendees select the topics to be discussed.
