If you actually have a real Christmas tree to dispose of, here are your options:

  • Waste Connections of Arizona – Contact RAD at 480-983-9100 to arrange for free, special collection. The tree must be placed on the curb by 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.
  • Republic – Republic will provide a special collection for Christmas Trees up to 8 feet tall during the first two weeks of January on your regularly scheduled yard waste day. Remove all decorations and tinsel before placing at the curb. Trees not picked up by the second Wednesday in January will be collected with the trash the following week.
  • Just Haul It – The local waste removal company will pick up your tree Dec. 26 through Jan. 20 on your schedule. They charge a donation of $20, or $10 and at least 10 non-perishable food items which will be donated to a local food bank. Arrange your pick-up by calling 520-840-7296.
  • Waste Management – Waste Management does not collect holiday trees for recycling in the city of Maricopa.
  • City of Maricopa – The city will release more details about a tree drop-off location after Jan. 1.
