Guns, cash taken in weekend burglary at A1 Pawn

Two guns and cash were taken in a burglary at the A1 Pawn shop over the weekend.

The owner of the store at 19395 N. Maricopa Road discovered the burglary on Saturday morning, according to Maricopa police.

An investigation, which continues, found the suspect entered the store through the roof and took two firearms and other items as well as an unspecified amount of cash from an unlocked safe, police said.

Police processed the scene for evidence and are awaiting surveillance video from security cameras on the premises.

The incident has been forwarded to MPD’s Criminal Investigations Division for further investigation.
