Some of his hit singles that made the Billboard charts include three number ones: “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong with the Radio” (1992), “That’s as Close as I’ll Get to Loving You” (1995), and “Kiss This” (2000).

His Top Ten hits include “You’ve Got to Stand for Something,” “I Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way,” “My Blue Angel,” “Working Man’s PhD,” “For You I Will,” and “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly.”

On Labor Day, Sept. 6, Tippin will be at Harrah’s for two free sets of fun and country music. The shows are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Oasis Lounge.
