Arizona Attorney General candidate to address drug and immigration issues at GOP club’s forum

The Western Pinal Republican Club is pleased to announce that the club will be hosting a forum addressing “The War on Methamphetamines” on Tuesday evening, January 24. Guest presenter will be Bill Montgomery, a GOP candidate for Arizona Attorney General in 2006.

According to club president, Bill Bridwell, West Point graduate Montgomery has been a criminal prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney’s office and is currently practicing law in his own firm.

Montgomery is a homegrown candidate, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University. He was named the “2004 Gilbert Man of the Year” and was awarded a Bronze Star for his service as a tank platoon leader in “Operation Desert Storm.”

In addition to addressing the methamphetamine issue, Montgomery will also speak on illegal immigration issues, crime fighting in general and protecting Arizona’s most valuable assets, its children.
