A crash in the southbound lanes of State Route 347 blocked traffic Saturday around 7 p.m.
According to the Department of Public Safety, a motorcycle “went down” north of the Riggs Road intersection. The rider was transported to a hospital by ambulance for injuries.
DPS re-routed southbound traffic to Maricopa Road and ack to Interstate 10. Northbound traffic was slow through the area but lanes were open. Southbound lanes remained closed at 7:45 p.m.
