This is the start of the state's long-range transportation plan - also called What Moves You Arizona - to bring together all residents, visitors, drivers and anyone else who will need to get around, to create a vision for the future of transportation.

Wasnauk's tools were the bow and arrow, and his trade was shooting off the hats of anyone willing to take a chance.  

Supervisor David Snider will hold his monthly office hours in Maricopa on Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Maricopa interim City Hall.  

The Primary Election is Aug. 24. In the primary, voters will decide the nominees who will appear on the ballots in November's election.  

I went on the MUSD site today to check out the bus schedule for the high school. Lo and behold, things have changed! We live in Senita, Phase I. Apparently we are just too close to need bussing to the high school.

An estimated 500,000 pets are affected annually by home fires, and a new data analysis by the National Fire Protection Association shows that nearly 1,000 house fires each year are accidentally started by the homeowners' pets.

Ernest Bustamante has announced that he will seek re-election to the Arizona House of Representatives in Legislative District 23, which covers most of Pinal County and parts of Gila and Maricopa counties.

Carmelita Norris Stanley was born in 1914 at Gila Crossing, northwest of Maricopa Wells. She came to Maricopa in 1918 when she was four years old. 

On July 21, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Maricopa police officers responded to Goles Drive and Venture Road on a report of an accident with injuries, vehicle versus pedestrian.
