The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce will host its Inaugural Golf Tournament at the Southern Dunes Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 25. Golfweek magazine recently voted Southern Dunes the seventh best course in Arizona (see related story).

Individuals who want to enjoy a round of golf will receive the use of a cart, dinner, a sleeve of balls, two mulligans and two drink tickets for wine or beer all for $80 per player. Teams get the same benefits for each team member for the price of $247 per foursome.

Interested players and foursomes of men, women and co-ed teams are invited to join their family, friends and playing partners for a fantastic afternoon of fun, golf and fundraising for a good cause. To register online, click here.

Current hole sponsors include: Community of Hope Church, Hwy 238 Storage, Data Doctors, the Maricopa Republican Club and Courtny Tyler’s State Farm Insurance. Glenn Jones Ford is providing the hole-in-one prize of a 2010 Ford Mustang, as well as a cruise, golf shop credit and two Ping irons.

A champagne weekend at the Coyote Trails Bed and Breakfast, travel passes and Tommy Bahama gift baskets are among the many raffle prizes.

A portion of the proceeds of the tournament will go to Chances for Children and to the Chamber’s scholarship program fund.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. For registration information or to sponsor a hole, contact the Chamber office at 520-568-9573.
