The Optimist Club of Maricopa and Ak-Chin Indian Reservation are hosting the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus April 17, and the deadline for the less expensive advance tickets is Monday.
To support the Optimist Club, tickets should be purchased in advance by contacting Grace Gomez at (520) 568-9407. The Optimist Club also will be at the Community Support Day on Saturday selling tickets. That will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rotary Park on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway next to the library.
Advance ticket prices are $8 for those 13 years old and above and $6 for children 2-12.
Tickets will be $3 more each if purchased at the gate. Proceeds from ticket sold at the gate will not go to support the Maricopa charity.
The event will be hosted on the Ak-Chin Reservation, on Farrell Road next to the new Recreation Center.
