City announces lane restrictions on Maricopa-Casa Grande Hwy starting Wednesday

62

Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 10, through Friday, Dec. 12, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., the city of Maricopa will be doing street improvements on the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway from Murphy Road to Santa Rosa Parkway. There will be lane restrictions during this time, so expect delays. When completed, drivers should experience a smoother, quieter ride.

Additional Closures
Porter Road is currently closed from Bowlin Road to the Maricopa/Casa Grande Highway. This portion of Porter Road will remain closed until the new road alignment is complete on the highway.

Powers Parkway is closed indefinitely from Placone Lane to Wolf Drive in the Lakes of Rancho El Dorado subdivision.

Street Sweeping
Clean streets – that’s the goal! Keeping our community and streets clean takes teamwork. You can help by keeping up with the debris that can clutter your roadway and moving your vehicle(s) out of the way.

Street sweeping services in the city of Maricopa will now include a regularly scheduled sweeping of all city streets. By upgrading our service and working together with the community, we can help keep our city clean.

You can help make this program a success by remembering to move your vehicle(s) on your development’s scheduled days. If you have questions about the street sweeping program, please contact John Bemis, (520) 568-9098.
