The city of Maricopa will host a job fair Feb. 8 to hire more than 75 employees for the new Copper Sky Recreation Complex expected to open in March.

The city is hiring both full-time and part-time positions, including recreation aides, child watch aides, lifeguards and parks maintenance workers. Most of the positions are part-time.

Salaries for the positions range between $8.36 per hour and $23.32 per hour, depending on the position.

According to a city flier, representatives will be at the job fair to provide information about each of the positions and to answer general employment questions.

People interested in a position can obtain an application here and bring it to the job fair, or submit it online if they can't attend.

The city plans to review the applications on Feb. 10, and the positions will remain posted until filled.

The complex is under construction at Bowlin Road and John Wayne Parkway. It includes a multigenerational and aquatic center, a regional park, a 5-acre lake, a dog park and baseball fields.

The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall, 39700 W. Civic Center Plaza.
