Get ready for a cold and rather damp week ahead, according to the National Weather Service.

Today the sun will be shining with an expected high near 61 degrees F and north-northeast winds around 5 mph. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 35. East-northeast wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday, clouds will be increasing with an expected high near 66. East-northeast winds will continue at 5 mph. Tuesday night will be chilly with a low of 38 under mostly cloudy skies.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 73. East winds 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Wednesday night will see mostly cloudy skies with a low around 45. South-southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday, a 50-percent chance of showers is expected. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a high near 64. South-southeast winds around 5 mph. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible. Rain showers will be highly likely Thursday evening with a low of 47 and 5 mph winds from the south-southwest. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday will have a 50 percent chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 62. South winds around 5 mph becoming west-northwest in the afternoon. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Chances for precipitation will fall to 10 percent Friday night with partly cloudy skies and a low around 43. Northwest winds around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
