After a mild midweek, temperatures are likely to drop in Maricopa with even a possibility of rain arising, according to the National Weather Service.

Today is sunny and high is expected to be near 72 degrees F. Tonight will be clear, and the low will be around 41.

Tuesday is likely to be a duplicate, with a high of 72 during a sunny day. The evening will be mostly clear, with the low around 40.

Wednesday, the forecast sees another sunny day and a high near 74. The overnight low is expected to be 44.

Thursday is expected to be only partly sunny with a high near 71. Clouds are likely to continue to move in, bringing a 30-percent chance of showers in the evening when the low is around 45 and the wind increases to 5-10 mph.

Friday, the chance for rain dwindles to around 10 percent before 11 a.m. The rest of the day is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 63. The overnight low may be around 40.

From this distance the weekend looks mostly sunny with daytime temperatures staying in the 60s.
