The regular session starts at 7 p.m. Here are the hot topics on the agenda:

1. Entertainment contract with Koko Entertainment: The city will consider renewing an entertainment contract with Kim Hunter, owner of Koko Entertainment. Through the contract, Hunter will continue planning, coordination and execution of teen-oriented events. The contract is for $43,000 with $13,500 being paid from the current fiscal year and $29,500 paid from next fiscal year.

If the contract is approved it would mark the second consecutive year the city contracted with Hunter. 2. Legislative Agenda: The city council will look at defining their agenda for the current session of the Arizona Legislature. Recommendations for focus that are being brought to council for consideration include seeking support for a grade separation at State Route 347 and the Union Pacific Railroad, the implementation of economic development tools and a plea to not harm city’s through budget cuts.
