Crain named Maricopa Chamber’s new executive assistant

The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Crain to its staff.

Crain has a passion for helping small business and has a strong marketing background.  He is a church youth leader, enjoys outdoor sports and meeting new people. He will start his new job tomorrow.

“I think the addition of Michael will bring new ideas and is a great boost for the Chamber,” commented board member Bob Gillespie.

The Chamber board accepted Anthony Snyder’s resignation at a recent meeting.   Snyder’s job at Well Fargo Bank has been relocated, but he plans to continue to be active with the Chamber. Mary Jane Lopez, the alternate member of the board, has been appointed to fill Snyder’s unexpired term.

The Chamber business-after-hours will be held on Friday, September 10, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Coyote Trail Bed and Breakfast, 2104 S. Coyote Trail, hosted by Mary Jane Lopez and Glenda Kelly, owner of Uniquely Sewn. The general public is welcome to attend.
