Donations being accepted for murder victim’s family

Friends of the Spencer family have set up bank accounts to accept donations in support of the Maricopa family. Husband and father Paul Spencer was fatally shot Tuesday (see related story).

“Stephannie Spencer is a hardworking woman and an incredible mom,” Amy Jamieson, one of several friends who are soliciting help for the family, said of the victim’s wife. “This tragedy has been a tremendous loss for her family, and we as a community should bond together and show our support. “

Accounts at both Wells Fargo and Desert Schools Federal Credit Union have been set up in the name of Paul Spencer Memorial Fund. Wells Fargo has locations in the Fry’s Marketplace Center and inside Bashas’. Desert Schools is inside Fry’s Marketplace.
