If your car needs a good washing, and even if it doesn’t, head over to the parking lot of Headquarters Restaurant this afternoon. Ivan Rojas, son of Trinidad Rojas, one of four to perish in a one-vehicle accident Thursday on Honeycutt Road (see related story), and friends are washing cars to raise money for funeral expenses.

Area resident Bill Bentley makes a contribution.

Rojas and crew held a car wash in Casa Grande yesterday, at which they raised $700, and are spending today in Maricopa. He said they would be there as long as the cars kept coming and as long as his valued volunteers continued to help.

Headquarters is located on the west side of John Wayne Parkway next to Dairy Queen. If you would like additional information on how to support the families of the deceased, please click here to send an email request.
