FFA can fulfill spring planting needs

26

Maricopa High School’s FFA program has just what residents need for spring. The group has plants for all your landscaping needs.

The agricultural program hopes to raise funds and support by offering succulents, shrubs, groundcover plants, trees, palms and agaves at reasonable prices for spring planting in Maricopa.

One-gallon plants are $2, and five-gallon plants are $5 each. (see complete list of available plants)

Plants and trees are available for pick up on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15-5 p.m. at the high school. They can also be planted in your yard for a small fee.

Contact Agricultural Science instructor Bart Romero if you are interested in purchasing plants. Romero can be reached at 520-568-8161 or 520-568-3185 or via email at [email protected].
