Fundraiser Monday for pet rescues like Daisy

66

For the third year in a row Pet Social Worker, a local, non-profit pet rescue, and Brooklyn Boys Pizzeria have teamed up to raise funds for local homeless, abandoned and stray animals.

On Monday Brooklyn Boys will donate 10 percent of their sales to Pet Social Worker. The offer is valid for both lunch and dinner (click here for coupon).

Brooklyn Boys will be having live Jazz from 6-9 p.m.during the event, along with the very popular raffles that have generated much-needed funds for the rescue organization.

Founded in 2004, Pet Social Worker has saved more than 650 dogs and cats in the Maricopa area. Through community involvement, exposure on local website blogs and forums, working in concert with other rescues, local veterinarians and grassroots word of mouth, Pet Social Worker has established a local presence for both the rescue of animals and helping to reconnect lost and found pets with their owners.

Pet Social Worker also partners with local media, publishing “Tails of Hope” in local newspapers and the Pet of the Week, like Daisy, on InMaricopa.com.

Pet Social Worker uses 100 percent of all funds raised for the feeding, housing, care, spay, neuter, and other veterinarian services needed for these loving animals.

Daisy: pet of the week

Daisy was found as a stray, but no owners came forward to claim her despite many attempts to locate her family.

Maricopa Animal Hospital did confirm that she is spayed, but she did not have a micro chip or and ID tags when found.

Daisy is approximately two years old; she is great with children and cats. She knows some basic commands and is housebroken.

She has no health concerns, but she will need vaccinations, which are available at low cost to an adoptive family.

Daisy is a really good girl and deserves a wonderful, loving family.

To meet Daisy or ask questions about her, call Jay at 602-228-2384.
