Gospel singing group, Liberty Quartet, performs Feb. 10 in Maricopa.

The Boise, Idaho-based singers have scheduled a concert for 6 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 44977 W. Hathaway Ave.

Liberty Quartet was founded in 1995 out of a church in Boise. Royce Mitchell was the choir director and the other three members were in the choir.

Liberty began travelling full-time in 1997.

The Maricopa show is part of the gospel group’s 2024 tour schedule.

Liberty members are Mitchell, bass; Paul W. Ellis, lead; Will Arasmith, baritone; and Doran Ritchey, piano and baritone.

Liberty travels thousands of miles each year, ministering in performances for church services, nursing homes, prisons, and other ministries. They also sing at large conventions, including Southwest Gospel Music Festival, Great Western Fan Festival and the Gospel Music Fan Festival in Canada.
