The weekend forecast calls for sunny skies with high temperatures in the 70s and 80s.

According to the National Weather Service, the cold snap that moved into Maricopa mid week will be blowing through by the end of the day Friday. Temperatures are expected to climb to the high 70s and low 80s for the remainder of the weekend.

Friday’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high near 71 degrees. The wind is expected to stay calm near 5 mph, and overnight low is expected to drop to 47 degrees. Some clouds may form in the evening, but no moisture is expected.

Saturday should see another sunny day with the high temperature climbing to 79 degrees. Wind gusts could reach up to 10 mph, but it is mostly expected to stay calm near 5 mph. The overnight low is projected to drop near 53 degrees.

Sunday is expected to be another sunny day with a high near 80 degrees. The wind is once again expected to be calm near 5 mph, but gusts could reach up to 10 mph. The overnight low is expected to drop to 51 degrees, and clouds could move in throughout the evening, but no moisture is expected.

The upcoming week is expected to remain sunny, but high temperatures are expected to drop into the 60s. More information will be available as the weekend comes to a close.
