The Maricopa Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #78 is donating 78 pairs of sneakers to local students, starting the academic year on the right foot.

The initiative, aimed at children from kindergarten to fifth grade, encourages community engagement and support.

To secure a pair of kicks, interested individuals are required to complete the registration form and submit it to the lodge at [email protected].

The deadline for registration is July 1.

All donated shoes will be distributed on Saturday, July 15, at Copper Sky, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Each household is limited to a maximum of two pairs of shoes and must reside in Maricopa.

During the shoe pickup, the parent who completed the registration process must be present, along with a valid identification that matches their name.
