Maricopa Business Center providing 3rd year of family fun

Face painting, jumpers, balloon creations, kids’ arts and crafts, raffles, chair massages, free popcorn, classic cars and live music will be just some of the attractions at Maricopa Business Center’s 3rd Annual Family Festival Saturday.

Located just east of John Wayne Parkway in the 44400 and 44800 blocks of West Honeycutt Road, the center will provide family fun for children and adults, connecting with residents and creating more visibility for the businesses located there.

Scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the festival will also feature the following performances:

• 11:00 Desert Star Gymnastics demonstration
• 11:30 Sequoia Pathway Academy Jr & Sr Cheer Competition Performance
• 12:00 Just Jump performance (jump and double dutch)
• 12:30 Maricopa Black Belt Academy
• 12:45 High Flying- Sequoia Pathway Academy Cheer Stunting Expo
• 1:00 Zumba Fitness Demonstration
• 1:30-3 Trotters Wake (Irish Band)

Maricopa Fire Department will be on hand with one of their trucks for kids to see. Free blood pressure checks will be available at the event, as well as 99-cent tacos and 75-cent mini-tacos.

“The purpose is to bring some attention to our businesses and our location and also to provide a fun activity for families in Maricopa. Maricopa needs more family friendly events,” said Jennifer Kacprowicz, previously, who along with Dick Crew of Hair Focus has managed the event since it started three years ago.
