A trustee auction for the Maricopa Manor Business Center has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. June 24 in Florence, according to the law firm representing the lender, Great Western Bank.

The sale had been scheduled for yesterday but was canceled.

Edward Farrell, who owns the center with his mother, Alma, had defaulted on three loans to the bank totaling nearly $4 million, according to court documents.

Farrell, who is the city’s vice mayor, also owed property taxes on the business center and had failed to pay a flood insurance premium of $15,000.
