The trustee auction for the Maricopa Manor Business Center has been pushed back yet again.

Originally scheduled for June 14, the auction is now slated for July 19 at 10 a.m. in Florence, according to the law firm representing the lender, Great Western Bank.

This is the fourth time the auction has been rescheduled.

Edward Farrell, who owns the center with his mother, Alma, had defaulted on three loans to the bank totaling nearly $4 million. He also owed property taxes and flood insurance on the business center at John Wayne Parkway and Garvey Avenue, according to court documents.

Farrell, who is the city’s vice mayor, said the first time the auction was rescheduled he was working on a loan modification with the bank.

Neither of the Farrells immediately returned phone messages seeking comment.
