Maricopans can ‘get the scoop’ at Saturday town hall

54

Maricopa’s city council is hosting a town hall meeting Saturday.

The event is an opportunity for residents to ask questions or express their concerns to council members.

The free, casual community outreach session will also provide information from city staff on various topics of interest, including:

Air quality
Aquatic/Recreation center update
Road improvements
Sign code
Economic development goals and strategies
Public Safety
And more . . .

At 10 a.m. Mayor Anthony Smith will make a short presentation, and the question and answer session is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m.

Those community members who are unable to attend can ask questions during the live presentation on Maricopa20 by sending an email; they can also send questions through Twitter @MyMaricopa, with the reference #CoMTH. The Community Town Hall will also be broadcast live on Maricopa20, the city’s government access station.
