A Honda coupe caught on fire in the Maricopa Professional Village parking lot alongside West Smith Enke Road at about 3 p.m., on Thursday, drawing a response from Maricopa Fire Department.
Maricopa Police secured the area.
“It was a very minimal fire,” said Monica Williams, a public information officer for the city.
Williams said that the fire was contained quickly.
According to Williams, no one was in the vehicle at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
