MHS soccer kicking away hunger Monday

The Maricopa Rams high school soccer team will try to kick away hunger this Monday.

Players, coaches and others will gather then for the first annual Red and White Inter-squad Soccer Scrimmage.

The game will pit teammates against each other in what promises to be a highly entertaining match up. However, it may be those that are not even in attendance that get the most enjoyment out of this event.

Admission to the game will be one non-perishable food item and a bottled sports drink such as a PowerAde or Gatorade. All of these donated items will go to the F.O.R. Maricopa Food Bank.

“Fellow Rams, come out and support the local Maricopa Food Bank in this time of need,” said Head Soccer Coach Jack Berg.
