Missionary to discuss Israel Lebanon conflict experience

A missionary will speak about her to recent five-week trip to Mount Carmel, Israel, which took place during the conflict between Israel and Lebanon in July and August.

Bryanne Baker will discuss her time of giving spiritual comfort and aid to victims this event at the Oasis Life Center Oct. 21. Baker arrived in Israel July 17, days after the conflict had escalated between Israel and Lebanon. Some of her first responsibilities were to get women and children safely into the bomb shelters when sirens were activated.

Baker has served as a missionary to Sudan and Israel and, currently, she is studying to become a doctor to continue her missionary work. She works in South Bend, Indiana, for Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to Baker, Dr. Doug Ray and his wife, Karen, will be sharing their experiences ministering in medical missions in Mexico.
