The Maricopa Unified School District Governing Board is having a special meeting 6 p.m. Wednesday to decide if an override election should be placed on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The meeting will begin with a Call to the Public and community members are invited to share their opinions with the board.
A 15 percent budget override tax election failed last year.
The meeting is in the District Office is at 44150 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.
