Officer shot, suspect dead

Both a Maricopa Police officer and suspect have been shot, according to MPD spokesperson Monica Williams. 

The incident occurred near 36100 block of West Seville Drive, Williams said. 

The officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries and remains stable at a hospital, Williams said. The suspect died.
