A woman was struck by a sedan near Bowlin Road and State Route 347 at about 8 a.m. on Wednesday. 

According to Monica Williams, the MPD Public Information Officer, the pedestrian was walking west on Bowlin in the crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle turning north onto the 347.

Maricopa Police Department and Fire responded to the scene.

Officers said the woman is conscious and will be transported to Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Injuries were not life threatening, Williams said.
