Pima Butte’s free Friday family night offers movie, refreshments

If your family members, both children and adults, are looking forward to the start of the school year, Pima Butte Elementary School is offering a Family Fun Night to let you touch base with other families and have fun at the same time.

On Friday, July 31, Pima Butte will open the doors to the Pima Café at 6 p.m. “Journey to the Center of the Earth” will be the featured movie, starting at 6:30 p.m. The film details a scientist’s quest to find out what happened to his missing brother. Accompanied by his nephew and their mountain guide, the three discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth.

Wear comfortable clothing or pajamas and bring a pillow and/or a blanket. Hot dogs, candy and drinks will be sold at the event.

Family Fun Night is free to everyone in the community. Friends and neighbors are welcome, and you do not have to have a student at Pima Butte to attend; however, children cannot attend without an adult present.
